Tequila has been made in Mexico for more than 400 years !

The difference is that silver does not rest in the "barricas" or barrels. And gold has to age between 2 to 12 mths in there. Tequila añejo is rested between 1 and 5 years.

Tequila is protected by a "Denominacion de origen".

Tequila started to be the drink of the mexicans in the Mexican Revolution.
